There have been lots of laughs today as we ventured into town (after doing some plumbing jobs and fitting a new window to one house). We started off by ourselves and ventured to 3 shops and picked up lots of the things needed (including 60 brass door handles which basically filled our small car). After picking up a driver (as a guide) at the KCV office in Bulawayo we were able to find the local tractor dealer and get a much needed part for their tractor, buy exterior and interior doors for various houses in the KCV village, purchase paint, a battery drill, taps, window latches, ordered glass panels and after dropping the driver back to the KCV office we did our groceries and even grabbed a bite to eat in downtown Bulawayo. We did all of this in around 5 hours which was great going...including slowing for 4 police stops where they check for the vehicle rego. This afternoon holds more plumbing jobs and we will be sharing devotions with New Zealand house after dinner tonight.
